NTPC Solapur hosted the NTPC Level Professional Circle Convention-2023 on March 3rd-March 4th, 2023, in the presence of Shri D.K. Patel, Director (HR). Shri Subrata Mandal, RED ( WR-I) , Shri N. Srinivasa Rao, BUH ( Solapur ) and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

Shri Patel congratulated Solapur for organizing the NTPC Professional Circle Convention in a grand way. In his address, Shri Patel asked the teams to learn from such a knowledge sharing platform and guide the young minds going further.

Shri Subrata Mandal, RED ( WR-I), congratulated all the 16 teams for successfully completing all the previous rounds and encouraged them for bringing in more innovative solutions.
The convention saw presentations from 16 teams from different NTPC Stations on a wide range of topics covering all domains of business.

Results of the NTPC Level Professional Circle Convention 2023:
Best PC Team: First Position: Technoid, Sipat
Second Position: Udaan, CC-Engineering
Third Position: Electron, Kahalgaon; Crystal, Simhadri

Southern Region bagged the award for best region to promote great innovative ideas across NTPC and Runner-up : WR-2

HOPs and employees from various stations joined the convention through MS Teams. The convention was judged by Shri R K Shrivastava, Former ED, NETRA, Shri C. V. Anand, Former RED (Southern Region), and Shri Vinay Kumar, Former ED, BE.

Shri D.K. Patel, Director (HR), also visited the Solapur FGD plant, Solar Plant, CCR and chaired the station review meeting and gave insights on the future of NTPC. He also inaugurated the Fire Station building, Contractor’s employee training at RLI, and Executive Hostel at RLI during the visit.

He also interacted with young executives, Female employees of the Solapur family, and motivated them to seek new opportunities for growth in their work areas. An interaction meeting with workmen Union and Association was also conducted.

Cultural program was performed in-house. GEM girls, Bal Bhavan Children, Srujina Mahila Mandal members, young ETs participated in the cultural event.
